1,000,000 Free Happy Minutes Up for Grabs

Dikemaskini oleh M pada September 8th, 2009

Shah Alam, 3 September, 2009 – Happy, the country’s no frills prepaid mobile service, is giving its customers every reason to be happy by giving away 1,000,000 free minutes in talktime, from 4 August to 23 October 2009.

The 1,000,000 free minutes will be awarded over 50 days to the top 20 daily Happy customers who accumulate the most talktime using Happy Prepaid. Customers only need to spend a minimum of 10 minutes daily on Happy Prepaid to be in the running to win 1,000 free minutes each day. No registration is necessary.

The free minutes are applicable for Happy-to-Happy or Happy-to-DiGi calls that can be enjoyed by the winners over five months starting from November 2009. According to Cheng Weng Hong, Head of HAPPY, “We’re offering free minutes because we believe in rewarding our customers in the most meaningful way to them. We know our customers appreciate our really low rates and will welcome the free talktime.

“With this campaign, we are giving our customers who love to talk even more reasons to continue talking on Happy Prepaid,” he said, adding that the 1,000,000 free minutes campaign is awarding as many as 1,000 winners with 1,000 free minutes each and not just a select few. Happy currently offers the lowest call rate nationwide. Daily from 9am-5pm, customers can talk for as long as 45 minutes for just 99 sen to friends on the same network, which brings call charges to as low as 2.2 sen per minute. For other times and calls to other networks in the country, customers are charged 99 sen for the first 15 minutes and 33 sen a minute thereafter.

Furthermore, HAPPY customers are charged per 20 seconds talktime, hence they do not need to pay for a full minute for short calls. For calls shorter than that (20 seconds), customers are only charged 11 sen. SMS rates are also competitive at 5 sen per SMS on Happy network and 7 sen from Happy to all other networks.

“Talk is Cheap. Value seekers can be assured of the lowest prices unmatched in the market with the real no-frills prepaid service, Happy,” said Cheng.
During the campaign period, Happy prepaid packs are available online at www.happy.com.my at a promotional price of RM20 for RM30 preloaded airtime.
